Open the WhatsApp app.

Go to the chat where the message you want to pin is located.

Users on iOS need to tap the “More” option and select “Pin”.

To unpin a pinned message on WhatsApp, simply follow the previous steps again. Long-press the pinned message and select “Unpin” to remove it from the pinned section.
Pinning messages at the top of a chat is also available in WhatsApp groups. However, in WhatsApp groups, only administrators can decide whether all members can pin a message in the chat.
If a message is pinned in a group chat, all participants will receive a system message indicating that it has been pinned and who pinned it.
